The mission of the Development & Alumni Relations Office at Bishop Dwenger High School is to secure the resources which are necessary for the school to realize its mission and vision. This mission will be accomplished through a comprehensive program that encompasses alumni affairs, communication and marketing, publications, student recruitment and retention, fundraising, volunteers, the Annual Fund, capital campaigns, and special events.
These efforts are a necessary part of Bishop Dwenger's commitment to providing students with an education that promotes the development of Christian values, intellectual growth, respect for the individual, social awareness, and the opportunity to develop one's gifts.
Tuition and fees, alone, do not provide the necessary financial resources for Bishop Dwenger to meet the needs of over 1,000 students. We rely on the generosity of alumni, parents, and friends as well as the support of the Diocese of Fort Wayne - South Bend to meet the ongoing needs of providing a quality educational program. Outside revenue sources are critical in supporting need-based tuition assistance, technology, capital improvements, expanding curriculum, professional development of faculty and staff, and other extraordinary costs associated with operating this school.
