Academic Life is designed to inspire a lifetime of learning. Our curriculum is challenging. Our teaching staff is well-educated: BD faculty averages 16 years teaching experience, and 37% have earned Master's Degrees. The student/teacher ratio is 15:1.

We reward academic excellence. Qualifying students receive a letter and jacket - for their academic success. 

Bishop Dwenger is a 1:1 school where each student utilizes a laptop computer to enhance the learning process. The school uses PowerSchool and CANVAS among other educational programs. 

We offer three diplomas: Core 40, Core 40 with Academic Honors, and Core 40 with Technical Honors. Bishop Dwenger is in the 95th percentile in the state for those graduating with honors diplomas and over 80% are attending a 4-year college or university.

Naturalization Exam State Report

As part of State Law, for US Government courses a Civics (Naturalization) Exam is administered. The following must be reported:(1) The number of students who took the naturalization examination; (2) The number of students who passed the naturalization examination by a score of no less than sixty percent (60%) on their first attempt; and (3) The pass rate of the naturalization examination for the students who participated. 

Below are the BD results from Semester 1
(1) 121 students participated
(2) 121 students passed on first attempt
(3) 100% pass rate of those that participated
