Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Jan. 18, 2021

Coming together as a school community, and a community of faith, is always important, especially in times of uncertainty. Today, our students are honoring the life and the legacy of Dr. King in every classroom. Education was a focal point for Dr. King, so, we are in session today, educating one another and making an impact. It is critical to better understand the work and sacrifices of Dr. King as he strived for the betterment of society by educating our minds and opening our hearts. Faith was a driving force in his life. So today at school, we pray together for unity, social justice, inclusion, and peace. Action and service were paramount to his legacy, so we are here to support and help one other push through these challenging times, and to, as Dr. King said, "keep moving forward."
