December 10

  • All week next week - December 15-19  our Chaplains will be offering 7:15am Mass in our Chapel.  What a wonderful way to begin each day - and to begin our Week of Finals.   All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
  • Lacrosse players... Tomorrow is the last day to stop in to see Mrs. Walker to express your interest in Lacrosse. Please stop by and ask any questions that you might have... Thank you! 
  • Spanish Conversation breakfast will be on Thursday at 7:20 am., rm. 210. Please sign up.
  • Senior quotes are due this Friday! Please see the Senior Canvas page for more information and to submit your quote. If a quote is not submitted, a bible verse or Saint quote will be chosen for you. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Ray in room 214.
  • We will play ping-pong tomorrow afterschool in the cafeteria. As always, cheap snacks will also be sold too.
  • Students, it's time to nominate a member of your class for the 2025 Winter Formal Court. You must be going to Formal and have purchased a ticket to be on the court.   Please check you Canvas email or your grade level Canvas page for voting information. Voting will close Wednesday, December 10th at 3pm. The official 2025 Winter Formal Court will be announced on Friday, December 12th during the afternoon announcements.
  • This Friday FBLA will have our end of the semester donut party.  Meet in Mrs. Weadock's room 115.  We hope to see you there.in Mrs. Weadock's room 115
  • Just a reminder that Winter Formal Dance tickets are being sold until TODAY!  After that, you will not be able to purchase a ticket. Hurry, today is the LAST day!  Remember, if you are bringing an outside guest you must have the "Non BD Guest Form" filled out and submitted online when you purchase.   

December 9

  • Spirit Shop is open TODAY after school from 3:00-5:00pm. We are Open on Tuesdays during December, not Wednesdays!
  • Praise and Worship will meet tomorrow for the last time this sememster starting at 8:20 in the chapel. All are welcome: students, teachers, staff. Join us for a few minutes or stay the whole time. A great way to start your day with Jesus, beautiful music, pray and friends! Hope to see you all there.
  • There will be a Spirit club meeting in the cafeteria on Wednesday, 12/10 at 8:20.

December 8

  • The library will be closed after school, please plan accordingly. 
  • Philomena's Friends will meet tomorrow after school.  We will have a holiday party carry-in.  Please bring your projects to work on as well.
  • Did you forget to bring back your gift for the Giving Tree? Don’t worry! Just bring your gift to room 208 by the end of the day on Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who helped make the giving tree a success again this year.

December 5

  • Students, if you plan to attend the Northrop Girls Basketball game tonight, please remember to bring your BDHS Student ID. You will need to show it to FWCS and BD administration upon arrival. 
  • Are you looking for a way to earn LIST hours through your service?  St. Ann's retirement community is looking for some beautiful fleece tie blankets to hand out to their residents as Christmas gifts.  You can earn 2 list hours for each blanket you make and turn in.  See Ms. Wolf in Pastoral Ministry if you have any questions.
  • If you are looking for another way to earn LIST hours, join the Euell Wilson tutors!  Pick up a permission slip in Pastoral Ministry.  We will only be going to tutor at Euell Wilson on Dec. 9th this month.  Make sure you sign up on the Mobile Serve app if you would like a spot on the bus.  
  • Please return all Giving Tree items to the bin outside of room 208. Items should be unwrapped and accompanied by the tag, if you still have it. Gifts are due by Monday, December 8.
  • Registration for the March for Life pilgrimage to Indianapolis is open. If you would like to travel with Saints for Life to the march you need to pick up and information packet from Ms. Wolf in Pastoral Ministry. Participants will be taken on a first come first serve basis. You need to have all permission slips and money turned in to be counted as a participant. Permission slips and money will be accepted until December 16th, or until the bus is full. Don’t wait to pick up your packet and get your materials turned in or you may not get a spot on the bus!
  • All lacrosse players both new and returning need to check Mrs. Walker to fill in a sign up sheet and collect some information needed. Please stop by either at the end of the school day between now and Thursday next week to fill in any forms. Thank you! 
  • All present and future Track and Field athletes there will be a 2026 Track and Field callout meeting this Tuesday 3:15 to 4:00 in the cafeteria. It is highly suggested that all new athletes and returning athletes attend this informational meeting. There will be a short practice afterwards. If you are Track athlete and play a winter sport see when you are done! See you there!

December 4

  • Please return all Giving Tree items to the bin outside of room 208. Items should be unwrapped and accompanied by the tag, if you still have it. Gifts are due by Monday, December 8.
  • SEA will be collecting recycling next week on Tuesday and Wednesday due to the shortened week this week. Remember that helping out with recycling helps out with your service hours... BOTH FLEX AND LIST... That's right... it counts for both! So if you have questions, please stop by and see Mrs. Walker in room 112 during the day and we hope to see many next week Tuesday and Wednesday... Your efforts are greatly appreciated!

  • Softball lifts are cancelled for today.

  • NHS has a meeting on Thursday morning at 7:20 in the cafeteria.  Please arrive on time.
  • Book Club will not meet today after school. Please check Canvas.
