Bishop Dwenger High School will administer the incoming Freshman Merit Scholarship Exam to any current 8th grade student interested in competing for scholarship money to attend Bishop Dwenger High School. The registration cost is $35.00, which is non-refundable. The registration deadline is Monday, November 20, 2026.
When: Saturday, December 5, 2026
Time: Arrive at 8:45am, test begins at 9:00am. Testing will end around 12:15, students must be picked up by 12:20pm
Cost: $35 (We apologize for the discrepancy from the Discover Dwenger as it was notified to us about the increase in test price.)
There will be a limited number of seats available at the door the morning of the test for $40.00, beginning at 8:30am. Students are asked to bring 2 sharpened #2 lead pencils (not mechanical). The test will cover Verbal, Quantitative, Reading, Language and Math.
